Pinky and The Brain WordPress plug-in

What is it?

The Pinky and The Brain plug-in [PATBPI] is a straight rip-off of Matt Mullenweg's Hello Dolly plug-in. As you all know, the Hello Dolly plug-in ships as standard with WordPress. According to the WordPress codex:

This is not just a plugin; it symbolizes the hope and enthusiasm of an entire generation summed up in two words sung most famously by Louis Armstrong: Hello Dolly. This is, by the way, the world's first official WordPress plugin. When enabled you will randomly see a lyric from Hello Dolly in the upper right of your admin screen on every page but the plugins page.

The Pinky and The Brain WordPress plug-in is a very simple variation on this theme. Instead of the lyrics to Hello Dolly being displayed in the top right of your screen, you'll get a random Brain word.

Hold on, what's a Brain word?

If you pay attention to the end credits of any Pinky and the Brain cartoon, there is always a fake credit which consists of a relatively obscure word and its definiton*. Tom Duryea has put a list of Brain's words together. I confess: I stole that, too.

* Clearly the words are less likely to be obscure to you if you are, say, Mr Stephen Fry.
